Despite overwhelming evidence that gender-diverse teams outperform their peers, women-led businesses continue to face significant challenges in securing funding. Unconscious bias is a major factor, influencing everything from investment decisions to corporate leadership.

Our mission is to address the gender funding gap by equipping financial leaders with the tools, knowledge, and resources to identify and eliminate bias from decision-making.

Based on the study ‘We ask men to win and women not to lose: closing the gender gap in startup funding’ of the Columbia and Harvard Business Schools the FE+MALE Think Tank designed BFBI – The Beat Funding Bias Initiative.

The goal of BFBI is to make sure everyone, regardless of their gender, has equal funding opportunities.
